Osmotreff is the innovative system that measures the efficiency of odour emission treatment systems through continuous monitoring of emission flows. The technology uses sensors optimised by T&A and dynamic dilution technologies developed by our technology partners.
The operating principle of Osmotreff is based on a programmable dynamic cycle of sampling from several emission streams, with different dilution factors available (from 1:15 up to 1:2).
Through sequential and high-frequency monitoring, Osmotreff measures volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other odorous compounds, such as hydrogen sulphide, VOC and ammonia, upstream (pre-treated area) and downstream (treated air), to verify in real-time the operation of the treatment plant (scrubbers, biotricklers, columns with sorbents, etc.).
The system is designed to supplement the results acquired by the sensors with machine learning algorithms that provide continuous, real-time data from the instrumental odour metering units.
